Who Will Headline Leeds Festival 2010?

Thursday, February 25, 2010 » Reactions

eFestivals have now moved headline hopefuls Greenday down from a strong rumuor just to a rumour.
Blink also look doubtful now after Mark Hoppus confirming that he will be in Germany on the same weekend (link).

I think these revelations now really leave the doors open, and for one of the first times no one really seems to know who its going to be headlining Leeds.

Leave a comment naming who you think will headline Leeds Festival 2010. Make it as realistic as possible, and if you have any news stories or backup then even better!

Leaked Line-up Poster Not Real Line-up Poster!

Wednesday, February 24, 2010 » Reactions

Its fair to assume that someone can make a decent stab at the Leeds festival line-up by using the rumours so far. Its even fairer to say that its getting increasingly more possible to mimic the official poster.

As a result, a thread titled "Re: Fake poster thread" has been created on the official Reading festival forum, and for some reason a few of the posters from it have got into circulation and people are starting to believe its a leaked poster!

This is the one that seems to be making the most news, and you can see where it was posted using the link below.

Could Gorillaz Be a Surprise Leeds Headliner?

Monday, February 08, 2010 » Reactions

There are line-up mumblings and grumblings all over the web at the moment, but to be perfectly honest I'm finding the hard hitting headlines a little hard to find this year!

Interestingly though, the Gorillaz are one act that could possibly scoop a headline slot, according to a various festivals forums.

I personally think that they would be a great addition to the line-up.

This year the band have already bagged a headline slot at Cochella in April, and will definitely be looking to expand their tour for the remainder of the summer.

Have any thoughts on this rumour? We'd love to hear them!
